THE FIRST BURN
Before lighting your candle, place it on a stable flat dish or candle plate that will collect any wax that may drip. Always keep your candle away from flammable objects before lighting. Let the candle burn for at least 30min to an hour until a melt pool is created.
TRIM YOUR WICKS
We recommend trimming your wick before every lighting. The wick only needs to be ¼ inch in length, keeping this length will avoid mushrooming which can result in unnecessary soot and ensure a clean burn.
UNATTENDED
Never leave your candle unattended. Always keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
KEEP THE WAX CLEAN
Keep your wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches, and debris always.
HOW TO EXTINGHUISH A CANDLE
You can extinguish your candle by dipping the wick into the melted wax or alternatively by using a snuffer and then straighten wick to prevent smoking and also prevent hot wax from splattering. Never simply blow out the candle.
AVOID WINDY SPACES
Placing your candle in windy areas can cause uneven burning, smoking and reduce burn time.
STORING YOUR CANDLES
Candles should be stored in a cool, dark and dry place. Avoid placing your candles where they will be directly exposed to sunlight or harsh indoor lighting, such as a spotlight.
